ULTRAFINE BUBBLES
An ultrafine bubble, or ultrafine bubble, is a bubble that measures less than 200 nm in size. For reference, that is roughly 40 times smaller than a red blood cell, or >500 times smaller than the diameter of a human hair. Because of their extraordinarily small size (up to 200 million ultrafine bubbles can be present in a single droplet of water), ultrafine bubbles are buoyance neutral and have a unique ability to remain stable in water for months.
This means they don’t simply float to the surface and dissipate, while moving throughout an entire water column (top to bottom) under the Brownian Motion principles.
ULTRAFINE BUBBLES
Due to ultrafine bubbles extremely small size, they have a very large surface area to volume ratio. When combined with proportionally high internal pressures, ultrafine bubbles are extremely efficient when it comes to gas transference (as high as 90%).
Due to their extremely high count (up to 200 million ultrafine bubbles per mL of water), the fact that they carry a strong negative charge, and are buoyancy natural, ultrafine bubbles disperse evenly throughout a water body. This even dispersion means that the benefits of ultrafine bubbles are seen throughout and entire water body.
Another unique feature of ultrafine bubbles is the fact that they can remain stable within a water body for up to 3 months. In the absence of encountering bacteria, contaminants, or other stimulation (i.e. high frequency vibrations) the ultrafine bubbles will retain their effectiveness over time.
When the ultrafine bubbles contact bacteria, other contaminants or simply become unstable over time, they implode and release their oxygen. This contribute to and significantly enhances the naturally occurring oxidative processes.
Due to the design of the ultrafine bubble units, you are able to entrain different gases (not just pure oxygen) into the ultrafine bubbles themselves. This versatility allows your pumpable liquid to be the conduit for carrying gases in various types of applications.

Begin Trial Program
As with any emerging technology, we understand that real value comes from being able to see the results for yourself. SWAT will install an ultrafine bubble unit and monitor the initial performance for a period of time. Trials are a low risk (installation fee only) and effective way to better understand the benefits that ultrafine bubbles can deliver for our customers.
Lock-In Lease Contract
Following the completion of a successful trial, we look forward to finalizing long-term 3 to 5 year service lease contracts with our customers.
Continued Full-Service
During the course of your lease, SWAT will perform remote monitoring and water testing services, regular maintenance and provide a warranty for the duration of the lease term. Your service does not end after signing the dotted line. We are committed to our customers.
